Description

The KV Club is a Front Wheel Drive 2 door hatchback first manufactured in West Kieferland in 1974, and still manufactured in 2005 in Silverslate.
The car is a direct parody of the Volkswagen Golf, seemingly the MKII variant specifically, due to the matching front grilles and its markings on the GT/GTI versions.

The vehicle's statistics are only partially known, with the only directly measurable statistic being speed, in Studs per second. Other stats are vague approximations from Kozakowskyy, one of the main developers for the game.

The Club comes with various attachments, of which many variants share. These are Mirror attachments and Boot attachments respectively.
All Mirror attachments are shared between all cars, whereas the Boot attachment is unique to the Club. The list of possible attachments are as follows:

  • Mirror:
    • Trees:
      • Black Ice
      • Camo
      • Cherry Blossom
      • Dayside Breeze
      • Green Apple
      • Leather
      • Mai Tai
      • Margarita
      • New Car
      • Rainforest
      • Royal Pine
      • Strawberry
      • Vanilla
    • Fur Dice
  • Boot:
    • KV Sticker
Additionally, all Club variants can tow a single trailer.

Variants / Deviations

Caddie

The Club Caddie is a manufacturer-made pickup truck variant of the Club. It can hold 1 unit of cargo in its bed, for a total of two if using the trailer. It's stated that farmers were a primary market for the Caddie, as it's possible to get a cow into the bed. The Caddie can not equip Boot attachments.

Polizei/Milicija

Both of these variants are used by the Polices of West Kieferland and Meridioslavia respectively. Both vehicles feature unique liveries and sirens, with the Polizei variant featuring a siren based on the German police siren, and the Milicija variant featuring one based on a version of the US siren.

Family

The Club Family is a four-door hatchback variant of the Club, made and sold due to complaints about getting passengers into the rear seats. It's primary use in game is as a basis for the Taxi.

Taxi

The Club Taxi is a four-door hatchback variant of the Club. It's capable of doing both cargo and taxi jobs due to its ability to tow a trailer, making it currently the only vehicle in Project Caroid to be able to perform both duties at once.

Safari

The Safari Club is a 4-Wheel Drive variant of the Club, with a bullbar, foglights, and a spare tire. It features a roof rack which can hold 1 unit of cargo, for a total of two if using the trailer.

Barnfind

The Barnfind is a unique version of the stock Club. It is missing its front grille and most of its interior, featuring only one seat, and is full of hay and various items of trash. It features a rudimentary roofrack, in which 1 unit of cargo is strapped directly to the roof through the driver and passenger doors, and the bodywork of the rear pillars, somehow. It can haul a total of two cargo using the trailer.

GT

The Club GT is an improved model of the Club, featuring an improved and unique engine, a red trim around the front grille and bumper, and rear window louvres. It is the only Club variant to have a top speed of 180st/s. The GT cannot equip Boot attachments.

Tuner/Rally

The Tuner and Rally versions of the Club are both turbocharged models of the Club GT, both featuring unique liveries, stripped down interiors only capable of holding two people total, and unique spoilers. Both vehicles feature a 250st/s top speed, with unique engine noises for accelerating and stopping an acceleration input. Neither variant can equip Boot attachments.

Stetson

The Club Stetson is a unique variant of the Club made at Stetson's Carsmithy. It is a single-doored, three wheeled flatbed pickup, with a unique engine sound shared with the Barnfind and a bullbar shared with the Safari. It is capable of hauling up to two units of cargo if using the trailer. The Stetson cannot equip Boot attachments.

Notes and Trivia

  • The colour "Mondlicht Schwartz" is an implied reference to the parody movie Spaceballs.
  • Cargo clips through the Barnfind's roof, along with the rear strap through the rear pillars. This is due to the assets for cargo being reused from the Safari, which has a raised roof rack, unlike the Barnfind.
  • The sticker on the rear of the Tuner reads "i wrote japanese characters on my car to make it look cool" in Japanese.
  • The stickers on the left side of the Tuner read "Turbo inside" and "I don't speak Japanese" in Japanese. This is mirrored on the right side, and "Turbo Inside" features on the bonnet.
  • The sunstrip of the Tuner reads "Sturdy Pine Forest Warrior" in Japanese.
